What is “muuver”?
Muuver is a simple to use social app that let’s you share your hypes and gripes, kudos & complaints, likes, and dislikes – about ANYTHING.
Muuver then takes your hype or gripe about an item and adds it to the “ITEM PAGE” where you can see everybody else’s posts who hyped or griped about that item.
The ITEM PAGE
This ITEM PAGE is where the power is. Not only does it show everyone’s post about that item, it also shows; an overall +/- score for the item, let’s you “watch” or follow the item, it displays the item’s popularity on muuver, shows total posts, total number of ‘voters’, and lots more that we’ll be revealing soon.
Just imagine – the ITEM PAGE is also the place where companies will have to publicly respond to our user’s hypes and gripes, in full transparency. You’ll get to see how companies handle both positive and negative issues.
MUUVMENTS
the POWER TO THE PEOPLE tool
We call it “the POWER TO THE PEOPLE tool” because muuver effortlessly connects people who have common goals and interests about any topic to band together to forward their cause or interest using our online tools for action.
We call this suite of tools a “muuvment”. ~”Because when a group of people who collectively like or dislike something all join together, it inherently creates a muuvment.”
MUUVMENTS have:
- public, semi-private, and fully private member options
- event management system and group calendar to help organize your muuvment
- online petitions and petition managment system
- fully functional self-managing forums
- group post feeds (like the main muuver feed but restricted the muuvment only – or public if you want it)
- lots more we can’t tell you about just yet.
But that’s not even all of it! Read on to see how simply sharing your hypes and gripes can create change.
Here’s How It Works:
It’s very simple – it’s like using Facebook and Twitter together, but instead of hashtag, you use a “muuvtag“.
You do that by putting a “+” (plus) sign in front of something you like, or a “-” (minus) sign in front of something you dislike.
You close multiple words in a tag by putting a “+” or “-” at the end of the words. (See image below.)
Use the Tool to Build the Tool
Since muuver is a capable of having each of it’s participants give their opinion about any topic, it’s like an instant “mini-democracy” allowing you to get immediate feedback from participants about any issue or item. Therefore, we’re going to create a “muuver issues” muuvment that will allow our users to have direct input into how the tool gets build and evolves.

For example, one of the first issues/items that we’ll be posting is our Privacy Policy discussion. We want users to have a direct sya in the evolution and development of our privacy policy. Kinda neat, eh? Not many other sites will do that with you, if any.
